This notice is effective from 23 September 2026 and describes how ticket.venice.it processes personal data under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
In short: the pages are static files. There are no accounts, payment forms, newsletters, analytics tools, advertising pixels or first-party cookies. The site search runs in your browser on an index downloaded from our own domain, and our fonts are hosted by us, with no calls to outside services.
Data controller
The data controller is the operator of ticket.venice.it, who can be reached at hello@ticket.venice.it for any question about this notice and to exercise your rights. No data protection officer has been appointed, as one is not required for an activity of this kind.

Partner widgets and third-party cookies
Some pages show availability calendars and product cards from Tiqets and GetYourGuide. Each partner’s script is loaded from its own servers only when the widget box gets close to the visible part of the page. From that moment the platform receives your IP address and technical browser data, may set its own cookies and, if you have an account with it, may recognise you. To speed things up, your browser may also open a connection to Tiqets’ servers in advance and look up GetYourGuide’s domain, without requesting any content.
For this data, Tiqets and GetYourGuide act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies, listed among the sources at the bottom of this page. We don’t receive the data the widgets collect and cannot delete it. You can block or clear third-party cookies in your browser settings: the rest of the site works just the same.
Partner links
Booking links go through a short redirect on our own domain, which adds our affiliate ID to the destination address. The redirect sets no cookies and records nothing beyond the normal server log. Once you reach the platform, its own rules and cookies apply: that is how it recognises the booking and credits our commission. All payments happen there, never on this site.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be processed on our behalf by our hosting and content delivery provider and by our email provider, acting as processors. We don’t sell or pass data to third parties, except where the authorities require it by law. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by GDPR safeguards such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR). Email hello@ticket.venice.it: we reply within one month of your request, extendable by two further months only for complex cases, in which case we’ll tell you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority in the country where you live or work.
Updates
If the site changes, for example with new tools or new partners, we update this page and its date. The terms of use are under Terms, and the limits of the information we publish are in the Disclaimer.
Frequently asked questions
Does the site use Google Analytics or any other statistics tool?
No. We load no traffic analytics, advertising pixels or first-party cookies, and our fonts are served from our own domain.
Who sees my data when I use a booking calendar?
Tiqets or GetYourGuide, which load the widget from their own servers and may set their own cookies. We don't receive the data the widget collects.
How do I ask for my data to be deleted?
